Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking a PRN Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe environments across the campus. This is an as-needed position within Environmental Services.

You will follow safety and sanitation standards, report hazards, support patient experience goals, and collaborate with leadership to improve cleanliness and efficiency. 1+ year healthcare or housekeeping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in housekeeping or service-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and sanitation requirements at all times.
• Maintain Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards.
• Report hazards and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve patient experience through cleanliness.
• Identify under-serviced areas and propose service improvements.
• Adapt cleaning processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Use supplies efficiently to minimize waste.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Environmental Services I Hospitality Associate is responsible for cleaning areas of the facility in accordance with expectations of the center’s leadership team.

What you will do in this role:

• Adhere to expectations around safety and sanitation.
• Maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all time
• Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions.
• Collaborate with leadership with recommendations for patient experience improvement.
• Identify under-serviced and/or un-serviced areas and how services can be provided.
• Adapt cleaning processes to add efficiency and effectiveness around the center.
• Correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to eliminate waste.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent. Preferred
• 1 + years of experience in healthcare Preferred
• 1 + years of experience in housekeeping or service-related field Preferred
