Cardinal Health is seeking a PRN Hospital Pharmacy Technician for the Hammond, LA area. The position supports a LTAC Pharmacy and offers part-time hours with potential for more hours at nearby Covington, LA.

Responsibilities include inputting data, assisting pharmacists with prescriptions, preparing medications, managing inventory, and communicating with patients and clinicians. A state license or national registration is required, with preference for prior hospital pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Assists the Pharmacist in filling prescription orders as permitted.
• Prepares medications for dispensing, packaging and shipment.
• Enters medical supply orders in pharmacy system.
• Maintains compliance with applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Takes inventory, places orders, stocks shelves, and removes outdated items.

This position is located in Hammond, LA at an LTAC Pharmacy managed by Cardinal Health. Pharmacy Hours are Monday - Friday 8a-4:30pm.
