Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Nurse Practitioners must have a Master’s Degree or Doctorate with board certification.
• Physician Assistants must hold certification from the NCCPA; CAQ certification preferred.
• Current license to practice in North Carolina is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient coverage across multiple Wake Region Hospital Medicine locations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely.
