Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a PRN Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to provide flexible inpatient coverage across Wake Region Hospital Medicine locations in North Carolina. You will report to the APP Manager and cover PTO, FMLA, illness, and census fluctuations with a coordinated schedule.

Requirements include NP/PA degree, NC licensure, ACNP/AGACNP or NCCPA certifications, DEA, and BLS. Effective communication and adaptability to multiple sites are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited NP/PA program with appropriate board certification.
• Current licensure to practice in North Carolina with prescriptive privileges.
• Duties include inpatient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and follow-up histories and physical exams.
• Conduct daily inpatient assessments and manage patients.
• Admit, consult, and manage hospitalized adult medicine patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Coordinate care with multiple teams and document encounters promptly.
