Responsibilities

• General Pharmacy Practice.
• Preparing IV admixtures, compounding, and repackaging a wide variety of pharmaceuticals.
• Entering and verifying orders into the pharmacy computer system, and proper dispensing of medications.
• Follow patients for antibiotic and anticoagulant dosing during rounds.
• Participate in daily rounds with the care team.
• Educate patients and nursing staff on new medications and potential side effects.
• Assist with medication reconciliation and discharge counseling.
