Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA seeks a Pharmacist to provide patient-centered care and traditional distributive functions. Responsibilities include IV admixtures, dosing support, and education for nurses and physicians. Georgia license and Pharm.D. are required; BCPS and PGY1 residency are preferred.

This part-time role covers 20 hours per week with day shift, within Wellstar, a leading health system in Georgia known for high-quality care and a collaborative culture.

Competenze

• Pharm.D. from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Licensed Pharmacist in Georgia upon hire.
• Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) preferred.
• Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency preferred.

Mansioni

• Preparing IV admixtures, compounding, and repackaging a wide variety of pharmaceuticals.
• Entering and verifying orders into the pharmacy computer system, and proper dispensing of medications.
• Able to follow patients for antibiotic and anticoagulant dosing.
• Participates in daily rounds.
• Works with other healthcare providers to assist in the patient education for new medications and their side effects.
• Assists with medication reconciliation and discharge counseling.
