Job summary

HCA Healthcare is looking for a PRN Hospice Chaplain to provide spiritual care for hospice patients, families, and caregivers. The role includes serving as a liaison to community chaplains and maintaining accurate documentation of spiritual care services.

Qualified candidates should have a graduate degree from an accredited seminary, experience in hospice care is preferred, and reliable transportation is necessary. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package.

  • Licensed ordained minister or equivalent experience, preferably in hospice.
  • Reliable transportation and proof of valid automobile liability insurance.

HCA Midwest Hospice & Family Care is seeking a PRN Hospice Chaplain to provide spiritual care to hospice patients, families and caregivers.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a chaplain to give spiritual care services directly or through coordination with other spiritual counselors.

What you will do in this role
  • Serve as liaison and support to community chaplains and spiritual counselors.
  • Maintain records of spiritual care services utilization and related activities for quality assurance, program development, and policy review.
  • Document direct services and ongoing communication with community chaplains and spiritual counselors.
  • Attend patient care conferences and interdisciplinary group meetings as a member of the interdisciplinary group.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology (BD, M.Div., or equivalent theological degree).
  • Licensed ordained minister or equivalent experience (Hospice experience preferred).
  • Reliable transportation and proof of valid automobile liability insurance.
  • Valid driver's license.
