Job summary

Parrish Home Health in Titusville, Florida is hiring a PRN Speech Language Pathologist / Speech Therapist to join our compassionate team. You will assess and evaluate patient needs related to speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments, and develop and monitor treatment plans to improve overall well-being.

The role requires licensure in the state, a valid driver's license, and CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Weekend rotation availability.

Responsibilities

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws and plan of care.
• Evaluates function and assists in development of therapy plan of care.
• Treats patients to improve communication and cognitive function.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses to treatment.
• Educates patient, family, and caregivers in speech therapy techniques.
