Job summary

Interim HealthCare – Knaus Organization in North Georgia is seeking a PRN Home Health Registered Nurse (RN). You’ll provide compassionate, patient-centered care in the home, advocating for resources and coordinating with physicians.

You’ll work with a team, perform assessments, educate families, and ensure safe transitions from services. Must hold GA RN license, CPR, TB screen, and 1+ year home health experience. Flexible assignments support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• GA RN license
• CPR certification
• TB screening within 12 months
• Knowledge of GA home health regulations
• Strong communication and compassion

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based care to patients with illnesses, injuries and chronic diseases in the patient’s home
• Collaborate with physicians and supervise LPNs, CNAs and aides delivering patient care
• Perform patient assessments, document progress and report changes to the physician
• Educate patients on plan of care, medications, therapy, diet and exercise
• Coach family members on patient plan, medications and home safety, and coordinate discharge from services
