Job summary

Interim HealthCare – Knaus Organization in Floyd County, GA is seeking a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN). You will provide compassionate, patient-centered home-based care and work within a team of physicians, LPNs, CNAs and aides to support recovery and quality of life.

This role offers 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios, flexible assignments, autonomy and opportunities for CEUs and online training. A GA RN license, CPR and at least one year of home health experience are required.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active GA RN license.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, ideally in home healthcare.
CPR certification and TB Screening within 12 months.
Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
Clinical proficiency in nursing with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide home-based care to patients with illnesses, injuries and chronic diseases—often after discharge from a hospital, rehab or nursing facility
Work with a team of physicians and oversee LPNs, CNAs and aides providing patient care
Examine patients, do assessments, document progress and report changes to their physician
Educate patients on their plan of care, prescribed medication, therapy, diet and exercise
Coach family members on the patient’s plan of care, medication and home safety
Ensure goals are met and coordinate discharge from services
