Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes across the DFW area. You’ll perform PT tasks under a supervising PT, helping clients improve mobility and independence.

This role offers flexible scheduling and meaningful, patient-centered care. Qualified candidates have a Texas PTA license, excellent communication, and the ability to work autonomously in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
