Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing.
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regarding patient’s plan of treatment.
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment documentation.

Skills

Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques

Current Basic Life Support certification

Experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant

Education

Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant
