Job summary

Adoration Health in Van Buren, AR is seeking a compassionate Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a PRN basis. You will provide 1:1 in-home OT evaluations, develop treatment plans, and support patients toward independence in their daily activities.

The role emphasizes collaborative care with physicians, families, and the care team. Requires CAPTE-approved OT education, state licensure, and CPR certification, with opportunities for professional growth within a growing home

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-approved Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapist licensure in state and CPR certification required; CPR certification may be offered on hire.
• Two years of experience in adult occupational therapy; home health experience preferred.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving abilities; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluation and treatment of patients based on physician orders, including procurement of adaptive equipment.
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to move patients toward maximum independence and function.
• Maintain communication among the treatment team, physician, patient, and family members.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services for proper billing.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in direct patient care and related activities per state practice act.
