Job summary

Empath Health, a not-for-profit organization, is seeking dedicated Home Health Aides (PRN) to serve patients in Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, and Sarasota in their homes. This role offers flexible PRN scheduling with competitive weekly pay and support from a mission-driven team.

Requirements include a valid Florida CNA or HHA certification and CPR certification, with a preference for at least six months of healthcare experience. Travel within the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA) or HHA certification.
• CPR certification (in-house classes available if needed).
• Minimum of six months of healthcare or home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities in patients' homes.
• Support patients’ comfort, dignity and independence through individualized care.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to clinical staff; communicate with families and healthcare team.
