Job summary

Empath Health is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) for PRN shifts to serve patients in Hillsborough County, Florida, delivering compassionate in-home care and supporting daily living activities. You’ll work with a caring team, communicate with patients and families, and travel within the service area to provide supervised visits.

CPR and CNA/HHA certification are required, with flexible scheduling and a mission-driven workplace.

Qualifications

Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA) or HHA certification.
CPR certification required.
Minimum six months of healthcare or home health experience preferred.
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must have valid Florida driver license and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities to patients in their homes.
Support patients’ comfort, dignity, and independence through individualized care.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated service.
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinical staff.
Travel within the assigned service area to deliver care as scheduled.
