One GI® is seeking a detail-oriented PRN Histology Technician in New Albany, IN to support surgical GI specimen processing for microscopic examination.

You will gross and dissect specimens, prepare tissues for histology, and perform embedding, cutting, and staining while maintaining HIPAA compliance and lab safety. Collaboration with physicians and staff is essential in this team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Natural Science or related field.
• ASCP HT or HTL certification required.
• Experience with gross tissue specimens and histology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gross and dissect GI specimens for microscopic examination.
• Prepare tissues, embed, section, and stain.
• Maintain accurate records and HIPAA compliance.
• Uphold safety and cleanliness in the laboratory.
