Job summary

Nutex Health, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (PRN) to help maintain a clean, safe hospital environment. You will clean patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas, following infection control protocols and PPE guidelines to minimize infection risk.

Responsibilities include bed making, linen replenishment, waste disposal, and coordinating with nursing staff to schedule cleaning around patient care needs. Prior duties may include general registration tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum one year of hospital experience.
• Ability to follow infection control and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean patient rooms, disinfect surfaces, furniture and equipment.
• Make beds to ensure patient comfort and maintain cleanliness.
• Replenish clean linens and safely handle soiled linens to prevent cross‑contamination.
• Sweep, mop, manage spills to keep floors safe and clean.
• Ensure restrooms are clean and supplied with soap and towels.
• Handle and dispose of medical waste per guidelines.
• Track cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when low.
• Follow PPE and infection control policies for safety.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to staff.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules with nursing to fit patient care needs.
