Job summary

Tyvan LLC's Environmental Services Technician (PRN Nights) supports patient safety by maintaining a clean, sterile environment in our healthcare facility. You will help prevent infections and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, disinfecting surfaces, making beds, handling linens, managing spills, and coordinating with nursing staff to fit patient care schedules while following infection control and PPE policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of one year hospital experience.
• Flexibility with staffing patterns and temporary assignments.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean patient rooms and disinfect surfaces to eliminate germs.
• Make beds and ensure patient comfort following infection control protocols.
• Replenish clean linens and safely handle soiled linens.
• Sweep, mop, and manage spills to keep floors safe.
• Clean restrooms and provide supplies to maintain hygiene.
• Handle and dispose of medical waste per regulatory guidelines.
• Track supplies and notify supervisors when inventory is low.
• Follow PPE guidelines and report safety concerns.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules with nursing staff.
• Perform other duties assigned by Facility Administrator.
