Job summary

Lake Health District Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services team member to support the facility on an as-needed basis. The role focuses on maintaining a safe and sanitary healthcare environment by performing cleaning, disinfection, and room preparation in patient care areas.

Shifts vary with operational needs, earliest start 6:00 am and latest finish 12:30 am, with 8-hour shifts. Flexibility to work different shifts and maintain high standards of cleanliness is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CHEST/CHESP certification preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or healthcare cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks; communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental services support throughout the facility on an as-needed basis.
• Perform cleaning, disinfection, and room preparation in patient care areas and other assigned locations.
• Be flexible and able to work different shifts based on operational needs.
