Job summary

East Terrace Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care and support activities that build and maintain the outstanding outcomes of the therapy department. You will evaluate and treat patients, document services in medical records, supervise assistants, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to plan effective treatments.

Experience in geriatric rehabilitation and knowledge of treatment modalities is preferred; current state license

Qualifications

• Geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Experience in adult neurological, cardiac, and/or general rehabilitation preferred.
• CPR certification and state licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Supervise PT assistants and aides in patient care.
• Communicate progress with patient, families, and physicians.
• Document services in medical records and ensure accurate billing.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care conferences.
• Educate families and staff on treatment protocols.
• Maintain documentation compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Promote safety and quality in patient care.
