Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center – HCA is seeking a PRN Food and Nutritional Service Associate to support the Food & Nutrition Department. You will help keep areas clean, organized, and stocked while adhering to safety and infection control guidelines.

A ServSafe or food handlers certification is required within 90 days of hire. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in healthcare.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/Equivalent preferred
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department.
• Demonstrate competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist and support performance goals.
• Follow infection control, HIPAA guidelines, and safety procedures to ensure patient and staff safety.
