Join Cleveland Clinic Health System's Brunswick Family Health Center in the Emergency Department. As an PRN Experienced RN, you will provide compassionate nursing care to adults and children with a dedicated team, delivering high-quality patient care close to home.

You will work a day/evening rotation (7:00am-7:30pm / 7:00pm-7:30am) and have opportunities for professional growth through our Professional Ladder and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC.
• ACLS certification within one year of employment.
• PALS certification within one year of employment.
• TNCC or ENPC certification within 24 months of hire.
• BSN preferred; Trauma experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.

The Brunswick Family Health Center Emergency Department features board-certified, emergency medicine physicians available around-the-clock to provide comprehensive care to adults and children. Depending on the type of visit, there are specific areas designed to take care of individual needs efficiently and compassionately. Backed by the full resources of Cleveland Clinic, the Emergency Department provides advanced care to the Brunswick community.

As RN in the Emergency Department (ED), you will help patients feel comfortable, at ease and supported while receiving treatment. This position requires a caregiver who is empathetic, understanding and nurturing to ensure quality patient care and effective life-saving treatment. A caregiver in this position works PRN (as needed) variable shifts.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Provide direct nursing care.

• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR the American Red Cross
• External candidates: two years of recent related nursing experience
• Internal candidates with less than two years of experience, but are post-orientation/90-day probationary period, may be considered with CNO level review and approval
• Licensed military RN experience will be considered
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (required within one year of employment)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (required within one year of employment)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC - adult) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC - pediatric) upon hire or within 24 months of beginning work in the Emergency Department.

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
• Trauma experience

Physical Requirements:

• Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
• Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
• Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
• Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
