Job summary

Oceans Healthcare in Norman, OK is seeking a PRN Outpatient Therapist to provide direct clinical services in the Intensive Outpatient Program, including assessments, treatment planning and discharge planning, and delivering individual, family, and group therapy to promote patient progress.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, therapists may support inpatient services when needed; LMSW/LCSW, LPC or LMFT licensure is strongly preferred, with scheduling options Mon/Wed/Fri 5pm–10pm or weekend

Qualifications

• LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT licensure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical services in accordance with accepted standards of social/work clinical practice.
• Plans and conducts group therapy as assigned by the Director of Intensive Outpatient Program or physician's order.
• Conducts, assesses and interprets completion of Comprehensive Integrated Assessment.
• Reviews all Multidisciplinary assessments and compiles a Multidisciplinary Treatment Plan under the supervision of the attending physician.
• Performs case management and discharge planning as assigned by the Director of Intensive Outpatient Program.
• Attends multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, provides updates on assigned patients and their progress toward treatment goals; combines reports of all disciplines into an integration summary.
• Delivers patient services in an ethical manner which promotes respect for the patient and enhances dignity and satisfaction.
• Assess and interpret age/disability/cultural needs; communicates in an age/disability/culturally sensitive manner to patients and families.
• Conducts treatment and discharge planning involving the patient's support system as appropriate.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
