Job summary

Medcor is seeking an EMT or Paramedic to join our team as a PRN Onsite Health Technician supporting employer-based clinics in Brea and Irvine, California. This role offers flexible shifts and a chance to gain occupational health experience outside traditional EMS/911.

You’ll provide hands-on patient care, perform basic primary and urgent care, and assist with workers' compensation case management while collaborating with clinic leadership and providers.

Qualifications

• Current EMT or Paramedic certification/licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Strong patient assessment and clinical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on patient care for workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Perform basic primary and urgent care within scope.
• Provide first aid and emergency response when needed.
• Support workers' compensation case management and Return-to-Work programs.
• Document care in EMR and maintain medical charts.
• Coordinate with clinics, providers, and client staff.
