Job summary

Medcor is hiring PRN EMTs and Paramedics to support our construction site clinics in Hermiston and Umatilla, Oregon. These are as-needed positions with no guaranteed hours, offering flexible shifts and per diem options.

If you enjoy applying EMS skills outside traditional EMS, this role lets you work in occupational health, with training provided and opportunities to grow across sites.

Qualifications

• Current EMT or Paramedic certification/licensure valid for Oregon.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Comfort working in an active construction environment; able to climb stairs and lift a 50-pound bag.
• Strong verbal and written communication; basic computer/EMR skills.
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions within your scope.
• Willing to cover both Hermiston and Umatilla sites.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses per Medcor MCPs.
• Provide first aid and emergency response as needed.
• Support workers' compensation case management and Return to Work programs.
• Collaborate with onsite safety professionals, client leadership, and outside medical providers.
• Document patient care using electronic medical records.
• Support onsite employee health, wellness, and injury prevention initiatives.
