We are looking for energetic and results-driven PRN EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics to join our Emergency Response Team (ERT). Responsibilities
  • Respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency transports
  • Assess a patient's condition and determine a course of treatment per local and site protocols
  • Provide first-aid treatment and/or advanced-level life support to patients
  • Respond to all fires/fire alarms and take appropriate actions
  • Document medical care given to patients in a prompt and effective manner
  • Inventory, replace, and clean supplies and equipment after use
  • Inspect and complete audits on all equipment and systems
  • Assist medical clinic staff with patient needs as requested
  • Perform surveillance and random drug screens as needed
Qualifications
  • The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
  • CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
  • ACLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
  • The ability to stand or sit throughout entire assigned shift, walk for extended periods of time, and climb several flights of stairs
  • Must be able to lift and carry 60 lb at least 100 ft
  • A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications
  • High School/GED or better
