Qualifications

• Board Certified.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa.
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Average # of patients per day not specified.
• Be part of a 24/7 emergency department team with physician supervision.
• Provide high-quality patient care in a busy ED setting.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs and support staff to coordinate care.
• Participate in shift work including nights and weekends as needed.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and care coordination.
• Maintain excellent communication with patients and families.
