Overview

UnityPoint Health is actively recruiting for an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Central Iowa.

We are a large integrated health system with four Emergency Departments—IMMC, ILH, MW Hospital, and Grinnell Regional Medical Center. The position requires practicing clinically across all four sites, with a mix of urban and rural environments, and provides opportunities for teaching, scholarly activity, and graduate medical education appointments.

Full‑time clinical shifts: 12‑hour, 9‑hour, and 8‑hour rotations, totaling 1560 hours per year, with advanced scheduling to support work/life balance. The candidate should be interested in educating EM residents and participating in non‑clinical activities such as education, scholarship, and departmental initiatives.

Responsibilities
