Job summary

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is seeking an EEG Technician PRN to perform EEG studies, EMGs and evoked potentials under the supervision of the Non-Invasive Cardiology/Neurodiagnostics Manager. You will handle electrode placement, data transfer to reading stations, and patient education while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires basic lab proficiency, the ability to prioritize STAT tasks, and a commitment to patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: AMA neurodiagnostics program or medical assistant course.
• Experience: 1+ year in hospital neurodiagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic digital EEG and long-term EEG setups.
• Prepare patients and apply electrodes using 10-20 system.
• Troubleshoot equipment and ensure safe patient handling.
