Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a PRN ECT Registered Nurse for the ECT room in Jacksonville, Florida.

You will supervise nursing staff, perform frequent patient assessments, secure physician orders, and administer prescribed medications and treatments while providing patient teaching. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and a current Florida Nursing License; recovery room experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (diploma/ADN/BSN).
• Current Florida Nursing License.
• Strong patient care and interpersonal skills.
• Recovery room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise the ECT room and staff.
• Assess patients and report changes to team lead/physician.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Provide patient teaching and chart entries.
• Assist in other ECT areas as needed.
