Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families about ECT and informed consent.
• Coordinates assessments, workups and second opinions with the care team.
• Documents and maintains patient medical records and discharge instructions.
• Prepares treatment area, monitors vital signs and monitors machine readouts during ECT.
• Provides post-treatment care and reassures patients, orienting them post-procedure.
