Job summary

River Point Behavioral Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a PRN ECT Registered Nurse to oversee the ECT room operations. Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Florida nursing license.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures; strong patient care and interpersonal skills.
• Recovery room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• In charge of and responsible for the operation of the ECT room; assigns duties and supervises nursing staff.
• Makes frequent patient assessments and reports changes to team leader/physician.
• Secures physician orders and documents in the chart; administers medications and treatments; provides patient teaching.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, whether it be a diploma, Associates Degree or a Baccalaureate program. Must hold and maintain a current Florida Nursing License. Should have a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures with knowledge and skill techniques of good patient care and interpersonal relationships. Recovery room experience preferred.
