Seaside Health System in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Driver responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently, while ensuring passenger safety and comfort. Responsibilities include vehicle maintenance, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to healthcare regulations.
Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma, 1–3 years of healthcare facility driving experience (3–5 years preferred), and a valid Chauffeur's license with a clean driving record. Frequent travel is expected.
The Driver's primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently transport patients. Driver will ensure the safety of passengers with severe physical, mental, or developmental problems while in vehicle. They may also be involved in maintaining the vehicle, ensuring patient comfort and safety during transport, and documenting all relevant information. The Driver is responsible for direct and indirect patient care.
Chauffeur's license. Eye exam. State of Louisiana defensive driving course. Clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 1 to 3 years of driving experience within a healthcare facility. 3 to 5 years of driving experience preferred.
