Responsibilities include cleaning, proper food handling, following recipes, adhering to sanitation procedures, and reporting dietary concerns to the dietitian or supervisor.

High school diploma preferred; ServSafe certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe or similar food safety certification may be required by state policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine kitchen sanitation and keep dining areas clean.
• Prepare, serve and store food following facility policies and approved menus.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Prepare foods according to standardized recipes and menus.
• Apply proper food handling techniques to maintain quality and safety.
• Adhere to sanitation procedures to provide a safe environment.
• Report dietary non-compliance or concerns to the dietician or supervisor.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
