Edenbrook Yeadon is seeking a dedicated and positive PRN Dietary Aide to join our team.

This role is vital in ensuring our residents receive nutritious, delicious meals and snacks served with care and attention. You will handle various tasks in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring food is prepared, served, and cleaned up following established procedures and health standards.

Essential Functions:
  • Food Presentation: Ensure all meals are served attractively and appetizingly, considering residents' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Timely Meal Delivery: Follow schedules to deliver meals and snacks promptly, ensuring residents receive their meals on time.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and pre-portion food as directed, ensuring correct quantities according to menus and diet orders.
  • Food Temperature Maintenance: Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures during preparation and service, recording temperatures as required.
  • Accurate Meal Service: Serve meals and snacks accurately, following menus, diet orders, and individual preferences.
  • Portion Control: Use appropriate utensils to ensure consistent serving sizes.
  • Dishwashing and Sanitization: Wash dishes and utensils per procedures, record water temperatures and sanitizer levels, and report issues promptly.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Keep work areas clean and organized, storing items properly to prevent contamination.
  • Flexibility and Assistance: Assist in various tasks within the dietary department as needed to ensure smooth operations.
