Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for a PRN position to operate ultrasound equipment for clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures. You will provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric ages and collaborate with radiologists.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an AMA/JRCERT program, aiming for ARDMS registration within six months, with BLS certification. Prior experience is preferred and strong communication with the radiology team is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited program or equivalent per IAC.
• Must become ARDMS registered within 6 months of employment; vascular roles may require RVT/RVS.
• BLS certified.
• Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT is desired.
• One year of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine procedures.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment for all age groups.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
