Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program (ARDMS eligible).
• RDMS and RVT credentials required or to be obtained within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations.
• Identify, document and adapt examinations; communicate findings to radiologist.
• Ensure safety and comfort of patients.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain equipment and QC per policy.
• Interact with physicians and other technical staff to ensure quality care.
• Provide instruction to students and residents as appropriate.
• Assist supervisor with divisional paperwork.
• Complete mandatory educational assignments.
• Meet professional, clinical and technical competencies.
