Job Opportunity: PRN LPN or RN at Halifax County Jail

Join our team for a flexible, part-time PRN nursing position at Halifax County Jail. We offer online scheduling to accommodate your availability, allowing you to pick up additional PRN shifts alongside your regular part-time work.

Position Details:

• Location: Halifax County Jail
• Position: PRN LPN or RN
• Schedule: PRN Days, 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress; chart results; establish nursing plans; work within scope of practice and guidelines, under supervision of physicians/providers
• Administer prescribed medications following nursing standards and correctional regulations
• Follow through with established treatment plans
• Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and critical thinking
