Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a PRN Computed Tomography Technologist to support CT imaging at the Woodlands OPID and Spring Convenient Care Center. Responsibilities include patient prep, contrast administration, positioning, and quality assurance of CT scans.

Minimum one year CT tech experience or two years radiology with CT training; license and ARRT-CT/NMTCB-CT certification required. Opportunities exist for involvement in accreditation processes and safe, compassionate patient

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) and ARRT-CT or NMTCB(CT) certification.
Minimum one year CT technologist experience or two years radiology technologist with CT education/experience.

Responsibilities

Performs CT scans on patients: prepares patients, explains procedure, administers contrast, positions patients and ensures image quality.
Enters and monitors patient data; performs quality assurance on CT equipment.
May assist with initial/renewal applications for ACR and other accreditation.
