Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a PRN CT Technologist for the Pflugerville FSED to support imaging services. The role focuses on performing CT scans, maintaining patient safety, and coordinating across Radiology to ensure efficient throughput.

You will operate CT equipment, document findings, and communicate with physicians as part of a high‑quality care team. The position requires ARRT CT certification, radiologic technology education, and the ability to work PRN shifts with

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
• Graduate of JRCERT accredited program or AMA approved program or equivalent military training.
• 1–2 years CT experience preferred.
• Texas Medical Board CMRT certification or equivalent.
• ARRT (R) and ARRt (CT) certification within 6 months of hire. If grandfathered, CMRT may suffice.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed CT procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of CT equipment and anatomy.
• Document findings on film or written records.
• Relay relevant information to physicians.
• Apply radiation safety principles to minimize risk.
• Participate in rotating call schedule.
• Work in other areas of the department as needed.
