Job summary

American Health Imaging in Augusta, GA is seeking a registered CT Technologist for PRN shifts. You will perform high-quality CT examinations and ensure diagnostic-quality images while delivering compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include selecting appropriate protocols, preparing patients, administering IV contrast when needed, operating the CT system with RIS/PACS, and adhering to ALARA and HIPAA standards. PRN hours are available throughout the week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT CT Registry required.
• Current BLS/CPR training.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Select appropriate protocol and factors based on patient age/size/symptoms.
• Explain procedure to patient and respond to questions.
• Position patients and assist on/off table; monitor during exam.
• Obtain IV contrast consent and manage adverse reactions.
• Prepare and administer contrast media.
• Operate CT scanner per manufacturer guidelines; document in RIS/PACS.
• Maintain ALARA principles and HIPAA compliance.
