Job summary

Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is hiring a CT Technologist for a flexi/PRN rotating schedule. You will perform CT imaging under physician direction, follow protocol standards and radiation safety guidelines, and administer CT contrast as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Radiologic Technology diploma and ARRT or CNMT certification, with BLS required. ARRT (CT) advanced registry must be obtained within 2 years of hire.

Qualifications

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required).
• ARRT or CNMT (Required).
• Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required.

Responsibilities

Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is currently hiring a CT Technologist to work a flexi/PRN rotating schedule.

Overview

Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.

Education

Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required)

Certification/Licensure

• ARRT or CNMT (Required)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.74 - $58.21 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
