Job summary

HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital in Walterboro, SC is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to join our Medical Imaging team. You will operate CT equipment and provide timely, high-quality scans under the direction of a Radiologist.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiography program, ARRT CT certification, SCRQSA in Radiology/CT, and Basic Life Support. Prior CT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program required.
• ARRT CT is required.
• SCRQSA in Radiology and/or Computerized Tomography is required.
• Basic Life Support - American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
• Experience preferred in CT and Diagnostic Imaging.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic equipment, verify images and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure.
• Ensure that proper diagnostic information is provided through the production of high-quality CT scans.
• Perform CT exams on a variety of different body parts in a timely manner.
• Complete appropriate history forms and technologist exam sheet.
• Start I.V.s and check labs as needed.
