Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by ARRT in good standing (RT(R)).
• CT certification (ARRT) within one year of hire.
• Current state licensure to practice radiologic technology.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing radiologic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform ionizing radiation procedures to detect pathology.
• Perform routine, emergent, invasive and special imaging procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment safely following ALARA standards.
• Coordinate scheduling, patient information, and informatics.
• Document procedures and ensure data is transmitted correctly.
• Inspect equipment for proper orientation and function.
• Provide copies of imaging studies.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and department standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet department goals.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology

ARRT RT(R) (CT) certification within one year of hire

Current state licensure

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Knowledge of federal and state regulations
