Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (PRN) to support CT and radiography procedures with a focus on safety and image quality. The role requires flexibility in hours and a dependable, cooperative attitude to meet department needs.

You will perform a wide range of technical procedures, prepare patients, and ensure proper identification and safety protocols while maintaining high standards of care and teamwork within the Radiology Department.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography certification required upon hire.
• ARRT-CT certification required or must be obtained per department policy.
• BLS or ARC-BLS required; Instructor credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and radiographic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Verify clinician orders and obtain patient history for procedures.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Sample preprocedural verification and Time Out when appropriate.
• Maintain infection control and cleanliness of equipment.
• Restock supplies and assist in clerical tasks as needed.
