Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a Radiologic Technologist (CT) to perform high-quality CT exams, educate patients, and document results in the EMR. The role requires adherence to infection control, PPE protocols, and ALARA radiation safety principles.

You will operate scanners and equipment, verify patient history, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses while maintaining patient comfort and safety. PRN per diem availability may apply.

Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist in RT(R) and RT(CT) ARRRT/ARRT(CT) credentials.
• Experience in radiology procedures and CT training preferred.
• Ability to follow infection control standards and use PPE per department protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations per provider orders and protocols.
• Educate patients about exams and maintain timely documentation in EMR.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, ensuring ALARA principles.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team for continuity of care.
• Follow department policies, safety guidelines and QA processes.
