Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, FL seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist for CT imaging. You will perform high-quality CT exams, administer IV contrast, and ensure patient safety and documentation in EMR/PACS workflows.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years radiology experience, ARRT CT/MR certification, and strong knowledge of radiation safety and department protocols. This role is on-site with a PRN schedule and requires Florida licensure.

Qualifications

• High School grad or equivalent.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years radiology experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT CT or MR certification required.
• Ability to learn Radiology software and PACS quickly.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations per orders and protocols.
• Review patient history to confirm exam appropriateness.
• Position patients accurately while maintaining ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast following safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure proper imaging and care continuity.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and ensure equipment safety checks.
