Compensation : Hourly Rate Depending on Experience

Employment Type : Part-Time

Schedule : PRN during clinic hours of Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

General Description

Provides quality care to patients receiving Interventional Radiology procedures, under the direct and indirect supervision of a qualified Medical Provider. The PRN CT Technologist will work closely with the surgical team to operate machinery for interventional radiology procedures and imaging. We are looking for a reliable, compassionate individual to join our team and help us in our mission of redefining healthcare and radically impacting patient lives.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform diagnostic / therapeutic procedures by operating CT machinery under the direction of a radiologist.
2. Act as a resource for patients and staff, providing additional perspective and education regarding CT processes and options.
3. Administer contrast materials as needed and assist in interventions during emergency responses.
4. Work closely with physicians and medical staff to maintain exceptional and precise care throughout each procedure.
5. Assist patients into positions using safe patient handling techniques and equipment.
6. Evaluate equipment for quality assurance and contact service for repairs or maintenance as needed.
7. Document all quality control testing according to department protocol.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current RT(R) and (CT) certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current Arizona Medical Radiologic Technologist licensure (MRT) in Radiography (CRT) and Computed Tomography (CTCT).
• Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in interventional radiology.
• 2+ years of CT experience.
