Job summary

AMSURG Anesthesia is seeking a CRNA in Toledo, OH for a 1099 contract, with no nights, no weekends, and no call responsibilities. The GI center handles EGD/colonoscopies in a two-room setup, Monday to Friday.

Applicants must be an RN with an active license, a graduate of an AANA-accredited CRNA program, current AANA certification, BLS/ACLS, and at least one year of CRNA experience. Malpractice insurance is covered by AMSURG.

Qualifications

• RN with active, unrestricted state license (appropriate state).
• Graduate of an AANA-accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Current certification from AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification.
• Minimum one year experience as a CRNA.
• Strong ethical and moral character.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate health history and anesthesia plan for procedures.
• Manage airway and administer anesthesia per protocol.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and recovery.
• Oversee recovery and ensure patient safety.
• Work in a CRNA-only model for GI procedures.
• No nights, no weekends, no call.

Job Requirements

You must possess the following qualifications:

• Graduate of School of Nursing
• RN with active, unrestricted state license (in appropriate state)
• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
• Current certification from AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Current BLS/ACLS certification
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a CRNA
• Strong ethical and moral character
• Basic computer skills
