Job summary

AMSURG Oakland GI Center is seeking PRN CRNAs for a 1099 contract in Oakland, CA. The role features no nights, no weekends, and a GI-only focus (EGD and colonoscopies).

Responsibilities include evaluating health history, airway management, and administering tailored sedation plans while supervising recovery. Licensed RN with active state license and current AANA certification required; BLS/ACLS certs also required; at least 1 year CRNA experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of School of Nursing.
• RN with active, unrestricted state license.
• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the AANA COA or its predecessor.
• Current certification from AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification.
• Minimum one year CRNA experience.
• Strong ethical and moral character.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient health history and monitor airway management.
• Administer a personalized sedation plan tailored to the procedure.
• Supervise recovery and ensure patient safety post-procedure.

Job Requirements: You must possess the following qualifications:

• Graduate of School of Nursing
• RN with active, unrestricted state license (in appropriate state)
• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
• Current certification from AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Current BLS/ACLS certification
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a CRNA
• Strong ethical and moral character
• Basic computer skills
